Uniview Technology debuts New “E” Series IP Cameras

announces the immediate availability of the new E Series
line of IP cameras. Available in a range of housing styles, resolutions and lens options, the launch of the E Series camera line continues the tradition of adding value to the growing uniview tec portfolio.

The E Series cameras are designed for entry level applications, especially retail and small business, and are available with either 4 or 5MP resolutions in bullet, turret and vandal dome housings. Featuring U-Code compression, an Ultra H.265 deep video exclusively from uniview tec that can reduce bitrates up to 90% compared to H.264, each camera provides consistent high quality video at the lowest possible bitrate in order to save on bandwidth and storage space.

The E Series camera line is available in fixed and vari-focal lens options, providing flexibility in system design for a wide variety of applications. The vari-focal lens is a custom motorized auto-focus lens, with a 4x focal length from 2.8 to 12mm, while the fixed lens models are offered in wide angle 2.8mm or 4mm versions. Each
camera is rated IP67 for weather-resistance in harsh environments and the vandal dome models also come with an IK10 impact-resistance rating. All of the cameras are equipped with a powerful, smart IR LED which
automatically adjusts the intensity to avoid over-exposure, providing black/white video coverage up to nearly 100ft. And as with most uniview tec cameras the E Series models come standard with a wide voltage range tolerance of +/-25%, capability to withstand lightning surges of up to 6KV and wide operating temperatures ranging from -40º to +140º F.

Additional features include Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) with a Micro-SD card on the vari-focal lens models only; support for Cloud Upgrades with connection to a uniview tec NVR; Wide Dynamic Range,
ONVIF compliance and many more
